Prepshots.net was started as a hobby on the courts/fields where my own children play
and has turned into an opportunity to share a combined passion for youth, sports, and photography. Prepshots.net
offers pictures that can be impossible to capture without expensive equipment. Not all of the pictures have perfect
clarity but some are worth purchasing simply because they capture emotion or a great play offering a permanent
memory. Photos are not deleted for imperfection because they may have significance beyond perfection. Prepshots.net
is not a “by appointment only” business and I am one photographer, therefore it is impossible to commit to shooting
an individual due to the expense/profit ratio and I charge no sitting fees or deposits for this reason.
Occasionally, you will see that I have posted many photos of a particular child which happens infrequently but their
child has had a particularly good shoot whereby 10 photos taken were great shots. Some athletes are more difficult
than others to capture. Though you may see 100 shots on the site for a particular outing, these shots may be the
result of upwards of 400 shots taken. I much prefer shooting teams and if you see me at an event and wish to let me
know your team is interested in what I have to offer I will be happy to visit your court/field AS TIME PERMITS. In
the case of volleyball, bear in mind that I have two teams to cheer for as well.
Due to the demand for personal use digital images, I am exploring the idea of offering very small digital files which
will not be print quality for use on athletic resumes as well as blog sites for teens. This option may be cost
prohibitive due to administrative fees but if it is feasible, that option will be added soon.
